Cognitive neuropsychology - Cognitive neuropsychology is a branch of neuropsychology that aims to understand how the structure and function of the brain relates to specific psychological processes. It places a particular emphasis on studying the cognitive effects of brain injury or neurological illness with a view to inferring models of normal cognitive functioning.
Rehabilitation (neuropsychology) - Rehabilitation of sensory and cognitive function typically involves methods for retraining neural pathways or training new neural pathways to regain or improve neurocognitive functioning that has been diminished by disease or traumatic injury.
Receptive aphasia - Receptive aphasia, also known as Wernicke's aphasia, "Fluent aphasia" or "sensory aphasia" in clinical neuropsychology and cognitive neuropsychology, is a type of aphasia often (but not always) caused by neurological damage to Wernicke's area in the brain. This is not to be confused with Wernicke's encephalopathy or the Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome.
